Designed like a working record.
Music work runs on handshakes. A producer sends a beat, a vocalist writes to it overnight, someone shoots the video, and the split gets agreed in a voice note nobody can find six months later. Artistto set out to fix the part of that chain that actually breaks, which is not discovery. It is the record of who agreed to what. So the app was not designed to look like a music product. No waveforms, no neon, no dark club interface. It was designed like a working record: a profile that shows what a person has actually shipped, a collaboration that carries a brief and two names, a job that states its terms before anyone gets attached.

Handshake
Every collaboration on Artistto begins as an object, not a conversation. Two names, a brief, a role for each person, and a state that moves from proposed to agreed to delivered. It reads like project management because it is, but the whole design job was making it feel like the thing musicians already do rather than software they now have to maintain. The collaboration page carries the weight. It opens with the work, not the paperwork: the track, the artwork, who brought what. Terms sit below it in plain language, at the size of a caption rather than a contract, and the accept action is deliberately small. A handshake should not feel like signing.
Home
Before Artistto, a working creator had an identity spread across six places. An Instagram grid for proof, SoundCloud for the actual work, a chat thread for negotiation, a notes file for rates, a document for credits, and memory for everything else. None of them talk to each other, and none of them survive a phone change. The profile became the spine of the product. It holds releases, collaborations, roles and rates in one place, and every other surface writes back to it. Finish a collaboration and it appears on both profiles. Accept a job and it becomes a credit. Discovery was then built on top of that rather than beside it, so you are not browsing profiles, you are browsing evidence.

Release
The launch was designed as one sequence rather than a set of assets. Eleven days out, three tease boards went up with no product in them at all: a void, a spark, a wordmark in orbit. They were built to be screenshotted, not explained. The middle of the campaign did the explaining, with three feed posts carrying the three ideas the product is actually about, starting with the handshake. Day zero was the listing. Eight store screens, a feature graphic and an icon, written so a stranger scrolling the store got the same three ideas in the same order as someone who had followed the tease for two weeks.
