The brief was not about aesthetics. It was about compression. A patient researching a specialist encounters credentials, costs, location, availability, and insurance networks across multiple tabs and phone calls. For someone already navigating a health concern, that friction is not just inconvenient — it is a barrier to action. The design needed to collapse that journey.

Hierarchy before volume.
Every healthcare decision reduces to three signals: credibility, accessibility, and outcome fit. Every screen on MedCompare was built around surfacing those three signals first, with supporting detail one tap behind. The comparison flow leads the decision — users are guided through filter → shortlist → compare, rather than confronted with 14 attributes simultaneously. Decision architecture was defined before any visual element was placed.
A scalable comparison platform across treatments, doctors, and hospitals — with a design system that holds whether a provider profile has two data points or twenty. A user reaches a confident shortlist without leaving the platform once.
